  1. Their TV ads are certainly inviting, but I take issue with the way they are worded. They indicate that they are paying 10% monthly, when at best the are paying 1/12 of 10%. Moreover, I wouldn’t be surprised if that anticipatory “10” is merely a return if your own capital. Reminds me of a Ponzi tactic.

    1. Excellent point. The stock market has a lot of good companies that will pay significantly better than 1/12th of 10% per month

      1. Their ad states annualized 10% paid monthly. They do not indicate they are paying 10% monthly. This is quite in-line with other companies such as Prospect Capital and GEO.

    2. Roger, Yes they do say 10% a month return. I agree with you, but if you read the fine print at the end of the TV ad, it says that all percents quoted are annualized. So, your right, that would equal 1/12 of 1%.

    3. Roger, I am not affiliated with NRIA but rather and investor with them for some years. I also don’t need to defend them their record and those familiar with land development and building can do that better than I.

They don’t say they are paying 10% monthly (that would be 120%) they pay 10% per annum. They pay that out over 12 months or if you are familiar with financial writing/language that is .833 per month (equals 10% per annum).

As far as it being “merely a return of your own capital” your capital is returned at the end of the term. The 10% per annum is paid out OVER the term (5 year lock-up). Also depending how much money you invested the rest of the dividend (and capital) is paid at the end as well. Could be 6 % to 11% accumulated over the 5 years.

You cannot compare the returns to the stock market they are apples and oranges. NRIA are developers and landlords. When you build a building you will find in the contract that the General Contractor builds in a 20% profit. This is common and not at all unrealistic that a land developer creating value can generate at lest 20% profit.

  2. I am concerned about their paying high return on investments. Why can’t they obtain loans from banks and other big investors at 3-4% p.a. interest.

  3. The TV Ads look very inviting. Please send me more information on the companies operating system. I would like to understand more about the operation features and how to fulfill the monthly return as advertised. I really am interested but the amount seems to be capped at 50,000. A large investment , the investor has to be confident where they put their money when the investor has no way to manage that fund. Please reply.

  4. I spoke with them to get additional information. Yes, the 10% per month is based on an annualized number (or 1/12 of 10% as mentioned above). Also yes, the 10% is a return of capital for the purpose of avoiding short term investment gains for tax purposes (I am not a tax expert or financial adviser). The higher return rates are based on meeting their investment level for the best returns and keeping money invested for certain period of time (less investment or time results in lower returns). The marketing claim of up to 20% returns is based on paying 10% per year and then an additional 10% per year at the end of the term. When calculating IRR (internal rate of return), the actual return is below 15% due to when you are making the initial investment and when you receive returns (although think about “time value of money,” so getting interest returns later is not the same as getting it earlier). It does not seem like a scam in any way as they are using the funding invested to purchase and develop high profile real estate projects in the Northeastern USA. The current value of their investment results is more than what is invested, so although past performance does not guarantee future results, it seems likely they can continue providing these returns. I still do not fully understand the “upside” further opportunity for better returns and the explanation I received didn’t mention it as far as I can recall (I heard about it on another add after my explanation phone call). I am not affiliated with NIRA and have not yet invested, but looking into it and considering it. As always, investigate for yourself before putting your money in! I have not always made the right decision, but trying to learn from my previous mistakes…

  5. The above review is headlined as “Online Websites Review”. This review is not a website review but a review of the company, NRIA. The verbiage is laced with weird grammar typical of someone who is not proficient in English. It reminds me of English instructions written for a Chinese product. I’ve been investing for over 50 years and the return on this investment seems way out of line especially considering the current interest rates. Plus this is not an investment listed on any exchange so you can’t get in or out easily. There are REITs that provide good returns with multi-year histories. I am not recommending any but two examples are NYMT and NLY. This investment doesn’t pass the smell test in my opinion. FWIW.

  6. Looks like the same scam DAVID LERNER did with his phony APPLE REFS. He kept all dividends and barely gave out crumbs!!!!!!!!!!!

  7. I’m leery of REIT’s . I was burned by a similar company which filed for bankruptcy and was determined by the courts as a ponzi scheme. I am still waiting for the the remainder of the settlement percentage of my initial investment .

  8. Thanks for your honest opinion. I am still wondering How they make money for there expanse and client, Buying land at low price make up for all gain?
